TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PRODUCTS:

We are proud to be members of the British Christmas Tree Association (BCTGA) and aim to supply you with a high quality product. Harvesting our Nordman Fir Christmas trees as fresh as possible, however care of your tree is important to ensure your Christmas Tree lasts for thee whole festive period – please refer to our Christmas Tree Care Guide for top tips.

Our Christmas trees are grown and harvested in their natural environment.  During harvesting we aim to keep them as clean as possible however, some trees may pick up a bit of dirt and mud in the packaging please take care when unwrapping your tree.

ORDERING:

 You must be 18 years or over to order any products.

Please check your order carefully before completion. We cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made in the ordering process.

Cancellation of orders must be received by Tarradale Christmas Trees in writing by email within 24 hours of placing the order.  If you cancel after this time it may be too late to stop the delivery. Any money received will be returned within 30 days.

Any problems with the order must be notified to us within 24 hours of the order being made. Tarradale Christmas Trees cannot accept returned goods more than 3 days after delivery.

All trees advertised on the website are subject to availability. We photograph every tree and the tree you choose is the tree we deliver, identified by its individual serial number. Should there be a problem with any availability of an order Tarradale Christmas Trees aim to contact the customer as soon as possible.

Each tree is carefully assessed for quality and aesthetic appearance and then graded accordingly.  Trees sold online are premium quality trees of the highest standard.  We do not sell standard trees online. 

If you change your mind about an order, it is the customers’ responsibility to meet the cost of the returned delivery.

 DELIVERY TERMS & CONDITIONS

 Using our standard (working day ) delivery service of 1-2 days most products will be delivered on your chosen day. 

 However your preferred delivery date cannot be guaranteed and some products may arrive the following day.   The delivery service we offer is offered in good faith and we cannot accept responsibility if your item doesn’t arrive on a particular day.

 If your item doesn’t arrive on your preferred day we cannot accept cancellation of the order.

 We deliver to: Dingwall, Maryburgh, Conon Bridge, Mulbuie, Ferintosh, Muir of Ord, Beauly, Kiltarlity, Munlochy, Inverness.

Trees are delivered after full payment has been cleared in our bank account.

Trees will require a signature on delivery.  Trees cannot be left unattended without a signature unless the customer has stated otherwise in our comments box on the order form. 

Tarradale Christmas Trees cannot accept any responsibility for any damage or theft of goods if permission was given to leave the tree/wreath unattended in this way. Products are left at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss.

If no one is available to take the order a card will be left through your door.  It is the customers’ responsibility to make contact in order that a new delivery or collection date can be arranged.

SECURITY

We are committed to protecting your security and privacy and as standard procedure we do need to hold some information about you in order that we can process your purchase.  We would require your name, address, contact phone number and email address.  We promise to keep any information we collect from you in a secure and safe way.

Any concerns or complaints about Christmas trees or wreaths have to be accompanied by a photo before we can progress the complaint. This would of course help us to quickly resolve any concerns you have. 

Returns and order cancellations

Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that the goods are damaged in transit please sign for them as “Damaged” or refuse to take delivery. 

We cannot accept responsibility for goods that are damaged and have then been signed for.  Please call or e-mail us and we will take us as much information as possible regarding the damage so that we can then arrange a replacement or  full refund as appropriate.

Christmas Trees and Wreaths are perishable goods

We cannot accept cancellations or returns for perishable goods any later than 5 days before due delivery as trees and wreaths are freshly cut/prepared to order. 

If you wish to cancel your purchase before this time we require notice of cancellation by e-mail and upon its receipt we will refund the original charge for those items cancelled.

 Last delivery date for 2018 is Thursday, 20th December, 2018

 Other Terms & Conditions

• This does not affect your statutory rights.

• All sizes detailed are approximate.

• We reserve the right to remove and amend products and prices on our website without prior notice.

• All content and design on this website (excluding other professional content) is the exclusive copyright of Tarradale Trees Ltd.

• We reserve the right to amend all delivery prices and conditions at our discretion and without notice.
